Mudras originate from Eastern yogic traditions, offering a centuries-old way to balance the body’s energy and stabilize mood.
Most mudras involve the simple positioning of hands and fingers to create a calming flow of energy (similar to acupressure points).
Pushan Mudra for Improving Digestion
Pushan mudra:
- help us assimilate and process anxieties
- improves the functioning of the digestive system
- is good for the liver, stomach and spleen
Yoni Mudra for Creativity
Yoni mudra helps us to:
- reduce unnecessary mind chatter
- create the required pause–needed for a change of perception
- bring a distracted mind to attentiveness o brings clarity of thought
Prana Mudra to Boost Energy
Prana mudra helps us :
- to generate heat and energy in the body
- with impatience, irritability, increased frustration
- with high blood pressure
Vayu Mudra to Relax
Vayu mudra helps us to:
- relax our nervous system (systema nervosum) works more effectively with day-to-day practice.
- calm the mind when we feel anxious, overexcited and restless.
- rehydrate our skin

Gyan Mudra for Boosting your Productivity
Gyan mudra helps us to:
- stimulate the Root Chakra (Svadhisthana) and is therefore very grounding
- energise the neurons in the brain for instant action
- stimulate the centres of the pituitary and endocrine glands
Jhana Mudra for Better Sleep
Jhana mudra helps us to:
- make the body steady
- reduce the distractions arising in the mind
- with chronic insomnia, especially if practised daily
