Urban Yoga Lab manages to reach through the technology to deliver sessions that feel very much as if we are in the same room together, which I really wasn’t sure would be possible at the outset – but they won me over very quickly!
I really look forward to our meditation sessions, they really have been the highlight of the week in an otherwise very difficult year!

Our instructor has a wonderful personality that transcends in the way she communicates with her clients during her practice. Her way of teaching yoga and mindfulness encourages confidence, presence, and gratitude which you feel you can take away and use even when you are away from your yoga mat.
The meditation session I attended at Soho House, guided by Urban Yoga Lab, was a thoroughly relaxing experience, perfect for someone not too practised in meditation. The soothing guided visualisation provided a truly safe space to explore relaxation and openness to the positive mantras and messages throughout. A wonderfully peaceful session!
Our instructor was very friendly and passionate about what she presented. I was part of her meditation/mindfulness group at Wells Fargo and she showed us several breathing techniques and encouraged everyone to participate, whether they were a beginner or a pro. At the end of the session, she was approachable and shared additional information with me regarding her training and workshops.
Urban Yoga Lab has been a pleasure to work with. Their instructor taught me Yoga. She was so passionate and calming. I would recommend anyone to take sessions from them, be it a beginner or someone more advanced. Our instructor was a lovely lady with great energy!!

I would like to thank Urban Yoga Lab for the mindful Monday meditation sessions over the past months. Meditating together has been an excellent means of winding down for the day with stillness or minimal movement, by just breathing and visualising. Our instructor is vibrant and radiates good energy. She is clear in her explanations and open and receptive to feedback. Without having to explicitly state it, she creates in her sessions a safe space to just be. While meditation can be done on your own, it is great to have a guide to lead you and curate the types of meditations that would be most beneficial i.e. suitable, while exposing you to a myriad of meditation varieties.
Urban Yoga Lab has partnered with the resort for a special program of Yoga and meditation classes for 1 week. The instructor made the class a must to do at the resort, every day we had more guests joining her to get-a healing time. The instructor was really kind and professional and knew how to adjust classes according to the guests’ level. The instructor even offered some private sessions to really advanced-level guests, which left them amazed by her skills. If there is any opportunity I would work again with Urban Yoga Lab and highly recommend any place that wants to upgrade the level of the yoga and meditation class to contact them.
In a previous career I used to write Time Out’s Guide to Yoga so let’s just say I’ve been to gazillions of classes and it’s hard for a yoga teacher to impress me now. Alexandra keeps it real, connects with her students on every level, and radiates positive calm and most of all warm Greek energy. She leads us to a restorative practice that’s as much about releasing the body as freeing the mind. For those of us recovering from injuries, this is safe yoga; for anxiety issues, it’s a welcome mind-break that becomes a habit; and whether you’re a total beginner or like me a longtime yogaphile, her classes include a constant reminder to listen to our bodies. I miss her ‘actual’ classes but in the meantime look forward to seeing her on Zoom
I just wanted to send you some feedback from my colleagues after the first session you’ve run for our event today. Very positive feedback. The only thing that we’ve noticed is that the sound is a bit off as if the microphone was far away. But it’s not a big deal and if you were not able to fix it for the next two days, that’s fine.

I was fortunate to attend Urban Yoga Lab’s yoga classes. The instructor helped us escape and forget about our stressful lives. I highly recommend them and their practices.
That was very interesting… it is relaxing, I’m looking forward to tomorrow’s session and will continue with this breathing throughout the day! I liked how the instructor brought up the topic of how to bring our mind back each time it wanders… it’s quite easy to be sitting in a meeting and quickly thinking about something like… did I switch off the iron?… or what shall I have for dinner tonight??! I’ve done that a few times at church!
It was an interesting session and it definitely slowed my mind down and brought it into focus. In fact, the first couple of breaths really helped me calm down! I can see myself huffing out breaths if this was a busy office.
Urban Yoga Lab commenced a 6-week yoga class program for the NHS and I am glad I was a part of it. I managed to forget about work and other stresses and focus on myself. I was happy to have this “me” time and even more excited that I met my instructor virtually and made my day event time. I would definitely recommend them!

Our instructor was a beautiful soul and an amazing yoga teacher. I came across Urban Yoga Lab about a month ago during a very difficult and hard time for me, while everyone was locked down. My instructor inspired me with her kind and generous actions and words. Practising yoga, meditation, and talking with a psychologist to manage stress and anxiety, loneliness and desperation were some of her initiatives to help me in our group classes.
Our instructor is definitely a Zen Warrior who wants to awaken your Zen Warrior too, guys. Thank you, Urban Yoga Lab!!
Our Yoga teacher between 17–21 December 2019 in Koh Samui’s Conrad hotel, was from Urban Yoga Lab. They ran Yoga and meditation classes for the hotel, where I was having a vacation. I joined their yoga class every morning at 8:30. I learned a lot during that short time. Our instructor was a very special teacher and I enjoyed every class with her soft voice. She carefully guided each student to make sure that everyone enjoyed the class. The great thing was that the instructor gave me private lessons, and through her guidance, I have learned a lot about Yoga and some of the postures that I’ve been practising all the time. Meditation was my first experience, and it’s great I will keep practising. Thanks a lot to her, I had a fantastic vacation in the hotel!
I learned the box breathing technique from Urban Yoga Lab via a ZOOM live video. As a surgical nurse, I often find myself in very stressful situations where I have to calm down and act fast. I noticed that when I was stressed my breathing was very fast and shallow. The box breathing technique is something I can definitely use at work and in my everyday life to help me calm down. Destress and re-centre my thoughts!
I arrived at the most beautiful place on earth, the Conrad Hotel in Koh Samui. Just when I thought nothing can get better, I came across Urban Yoga Lab’s yoga class! It was the perfect cherry on top! Thank you very much for sharing your beautiful energy with us! I am forever grateful
